It was a pretty easy paint. I used some off-white paint in a rattle can as a base. I then gave it multiple washes of burnt umber rubbing the paint in and off in areas with my hand and paper towels. It was given a clear coat of satin. The metal piece was painted with dull aluminum and given washes of black that were blotted with a damp paper towel to create random patterns.
