I was waiting to have some pics to share but for the sake of expediency I'll follow up with those later.
I got in on these in ivory/off-white some time ago and have used them a few times now. I can't be more pleased with the look, feel and fit of these. The level of detail and care that went on these as well as the patches is awesome. I always get compliments on these.
I am so much impressed that I've placed an order for a seafoam set to do a science division. I'm really looking forward to these for the next con.

Apparently this is Ripley's casual jacket. I read this is the one she wears below deck, when she discusses with Brett and Parker. I don't recall the scene myself, so seems like a good excuse to watch it again

I honestly thought her jacket was green? Or did it start green and was dyed for film? (Or maybe it's available in 2 colours) A 50's French parka liner or something like that, I'm probably wrong though! Yes, you are referring to the scene added in the directors cut version of the film, the only scene where Ripley is seen wearing this jacket and it does appear to be brown, while the one Lambert wears is green.NostromoCrew I saw your post on Instagram about a casual jacket. DaveChaos where are these photos from? At first glance this jacket looks right, but I can’t seem to screen match it. The collars are different and the placement of the wings is different, so it seams to me.

Correct! 50’s French military liner. Extremely difficult to come by, but they do show up once in a while. I have a few:

I think it may be the brown one in the first photo above. Placement of the green wings, collar and (what initially threw me) the left shoulder patch... but if you look closely, you can see what appears to be remnants of glue on the left shoulder- patch is gone on the left. We all know they glued them on, and didn't sew them.
I think that's a good match.

Color choices make sense- Lambert's is green over a white outfit. Ripley wears a green flight suit, and there would be no contrast.
