This is intended as a sort of what-do-we-know/speculation thread. Pile together what can be gleaned from Infinity War, Ant-Man & the Wasp, Captain Marvel (when it comes out), and stuff on social media.

Yes, it seems time travel is involved. We have stuff from the set during filming where they recreated the Chitauri invasion of New York from the first Avengers. Tony is disguised as one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents escorting Loki, and is talking to him. About what, we wonder. Given that the events of that film revolved around two of the Infinity Stones, I'm wondering if that's germane.

I am one of those who refuses to believe Loki's dead, regardless of what they say. In Dark World, that was supposed to be his actual death, but they reconsidered and rewrote it so it was him faking them out. But that's the standard set -- when Loki dies, the illusion drops, revealing his true Frost Giant traits. He didn't in Infinity War. So.

A bunch of fan speculation as to the title of this film is out there. The Russos commented that one fan speculation -- "Avengers 4ever/Forever" -- was closer than the others, leading some to wonder if it might be something like "Eternity War". As counterpoint to Infinity, as reference to the entity Eternity in Marvel comics, who Thanos replaced as the embodiment of the universe in the original comic miniseries, and potentially involved in the time-travel element of the story.

What else do we know/suspect/deduce? Some people keep saying it will be five years after Infinity War, but there seems to be no primary source for that rumor beyond the good old "anonymous source".

Well, with Janet van Dyne specifically warning Scott Lang about a time vortex in the quantum realm, then him getting stuck there due to the Snapture it seems like they're setting him up to be the one to possibly reverse or prevent Thanos from attaining his goal. Those photos from the set showing Scott as Ant-Man along with Cap in his old suit and a seemingly older Tony Stark sure make it seem like its going to feature time travel in a big way.

I read the other day that one of the cinematographers has updated his LinkedIn or something and has it listed as "Avengers: End Game" which is basically what Dr Strange says when he's giving Thanos the Time Stone..."We're in the end game now" or something to that effect.

Of course, it could just be a working title.

I think it works several ways...it ties directly into "Infinity War" with the line from Dr. Strange, but it also can serve as a way to end this three phase arc that they've been working on for 10 years now, and lets fans know that they will be moving into a new overall story with the start of Phase 4.

I had wondered why they had Cap in the Winter Soldier suit for this Infinity War cover. Now it make sense since they were probably filming it then and thats what he wears again in Endgame.

I think Cap looks good, shaven and in his ol' suit, although the first Avenger suit has my preference because it looks more like the comics.
In any case I'm excited to go see this movie, even if it's just to see how it ends and ties into the rest. Thanks for the trailer,Vivek!

Looks good. I'm more excited to see this one than I was for infinity war (that said, I didn't even bother with infinity war in theaters). The drama in this one is at least building towards an end to a story arc. Infinity war was just a known "this will happen" sort of film, with it clear from the get go that it had no real consequences.

This one though... the ending we have with this one, will be for keeps.
