Wassup guys, so the plan is to model this funky little craft from ESB and then produce a full size prop that is sort of crashed/wrecked, lying in a scrapyard, in some forgotten corner of the galaxy. But before all that I need me some help...so the interweb says full size is 7 metres in length and I have read somewhere that the SS model is around 15 1/2 inches long, (39.5cm)...so it can't be 1/24 or 1/36 scale, so what scale is it?
There are some pretty decent files around, of this ship, but for my taste, either a bit too clinical or missing some details...so here's my rendering...still plenty to do;

Assuming your numbers are correct, the scale is approximately 1:17.68 (15.5 inches * X= 275.59 inches [7 meters]). So, I would guess 1:18 was the intent.

OK thanks, so doing the math, if studio scale is 1/10, then the model has to be 70cm long?? Also, I am not sure my numbers are correct...there is very little info on the SS model...if anyone has one of the beautiful Lasse Henning models, I'd appreciate knowing the size

No information forthcoming regarding the sizing, so I'll just carry on modelling and keep my fingers crossed.
Only the pilots and the cockpit kit parts to go... and seeing as it's Movember it will be the pilot with the tache first;

spoiler alert...just the cutest little spoilers ever

well there's the thing...how can it be 1/10 scale when the full ship is supposed to be 7M long. I would assume that printer is 500 x 500 max so that model must be around 40cm...not 70cm, which would be 1/10. Surely it must be more like 1/18 scale?

Okay, call me crazy, but the price for the model is totally worth it, and with the insane accuracy that GEEK1138 puts into his models, I think I am going to print myself a lifesize cloud car pilot helmet after the model´s been printed and built. Now how do I get a 3Dprinter into that old people´s retirement home in roughly 25 years ...
