Can I ask that you take a good look at the references for the size of the plastic sleeve, I'm almost 100% sure that they used sleeves already of the proper size, not a larger sleeve that they cut and rounded afterwards, the result is much larger around the badge that what you are showing in your videos for now, this is What I'm doing on my own badges and it works very nicelly. The second important detail is gluing the corners of the amberlith like I mentioned in your other thread last time, the corners on the original are very clean, and doing over a hundred of those has taught me that this works when you apply a little bit of glue in the corners of the amberlith before cutting the corners of the badge.
