Blade Runner/Spinner reference archive

All modelers should be warned that the flying Spinner was different from the ground Spinner. This includes the interior. The Seattle Spinner was a flyer.
Yes but in the restoration Gene and the gang added many of the same elements the driving vehicle had in its interior... mainly because the flying version didn't really HAVE any interior details because they wanted to keep the weight down.

The ultimate version would of course be to have the process interior inside both the flying and driving spinners....

It's in the area they opened up recently to show off the Trek stuff. You can look up at the undercarriage on the way up the stairs and into the cockpit from the upper level catwalk.

Most people would be oggling the Enterprise D and DS9 models though.

Good to know they finally opened up the area to the general public. That was my main beef with where they placed it in the museum initially.

With as beautiful as the finish is on the vehicle now, it really should be down where people would notice it more.... with all of it's lights going and all the interior and exterior lights on...

The first thing I noticed was the difference in the seats which are completely different in either version.

The differences add up fast after that.

While a nice restoration, the graphics in particular, the Seattle Spinner is not really an accurate example of either version.

The body is the right shape at least. The rest is fairly understood from the hundreds of photo's I've seen online.

Well, I'm using mine and any others I can get my hands on.

I would really like to find some "junk" pics from tours that show closeups shots from odd angles of the Spinner. There are a lot of details to figure out still.

Construction shots would be good too. I have a few, but could there ever be enough??
