Serenity put me down for a second. I had to be cautious at the new price because I'm a freelancer. The good news is that I landed some new contracts so I'm good for a total of 2.

Crossing my fingers we can hit that 30 mark.

I do believe this is taking too long... If we hit the 30 a lot of people will have to reconfirm that they are still interrested or not.
We play the game again and again.
Serenity, did you contacted those from the 1st list, who have actualy not replied after you started to collect the members of
the 2nd list, by PN/directly?

I think the most recent list of folks that are interested are in fact the people interested in the faceplate from Serenity's 2nd list. See updated first post Serenity updated the list for those of us still interested.

I, personally don't think it's taking too long, we just need to reach the 30 person mark.

Of course the actual list of people are those interested actualy. And the new list is just 2 weeks "old".
But it took from April to December 2014 to get the first list with 29 "faceplates" on it. I think it will again, take
such a long time. But I might be wrong (hopefully)

I sent out a round of reminder PMs today; to be honest, I didn't send them out before because I didn't think they would be necessary... but I can see now that I might have been mistaken.

As noted, the new list is only two weeks old, and the list could reach that magical 30 number fairly quickly if some of those other members are still interested. I mean, we had a total of around 43 plates that people were interested leading up to now. I guess all we can do now is wait just a little longer and hope the others are still interested as well.

If you guys know of anyone else who might be interested, please send them in this direction as well!

My apologies, I didn't realize that this thread was started back in April, I missed that. completely. :facepalm

We can just think happy thoughts at this point. It also occurred to me that folks are recovering from holiday expenditures, that may be a reason some folks are not on the most recent "final" list.

Serenity, I'll mention this run to some of my other friends. I hope that helps add a few more folks.

Here is the status of things:

We have confirmed interest on 18 plates (for now). We still need 12 more plates ordered to reach that optimal price break.

On Monday, I sent out PMs to 16 of the 17 remaining members who had expressed interest but had not yet contacted me since the update on December 15th. Of those 16 members, I've had replies from four of them (three of them saying they needed to withdraw and one saying they were still in).

Of the remaining:

Five members haven't been online or active on the RPF for numerous months, including the one member I couldn't PM because they have messaging disabled. They account for 6-8 plates.

Five members haven't been online or active within the last 1-3 weeks, so they won't have received my reminder PM. Five plates.

Three of them are online right now or have been within the last day, so they should have received and read it, but have not yet replied. Three plates.

I know the delay has caused some complications, but if you know any of the members who are on the list but not confirmed, see if you can reach out to them elsewhere. In addition, spread the word and see if we can get some more Warehouse 13 fans in here who would be interested in a build!
