I had the mold all cleaned up and was injecting the silicone and then bloooub the syringe cap came off and silicone is everywhere except in the mold, now I have to order some more.

Okay, I injected what I had left (not enough) and just de-molded it and it's kinda like a zombie weequay(I'll post pics as soon as I can find my camera). Anyway I think I might make the mold again (three piece), but first I would have to make a hard copy out of resin any tips on how to cast resin into plasti-paste?
And on top of that I can't afford more silicone for a while anyone know how to get sponsored by Smooth-on, if they do that?

You need to talk to someone at Smooth-On and ask for their opinions. They were amazing with me and my Ahsoka sculpt and offered all sorts of advice both in person and over the phone. They really stand by their products.
You should post some pics too to give us a better idea what's going on.

If that's in regard to getting sponsored by smooth-on... let me know how that goes! I spend about $200 - $400 a month there and the best I get is the occasional free sample!

I'm gonna slush cast one so I can get it done for SDCC10 then I might continue to slush cast them if I can't figure out how to mold it with a head form in it.

slush casting seems like a good way to go anyway. it will be great seeing one all painted up.

started it last night, hope to wear the mask to comic-con,I'm slushing it in both halfs then putting the mold together and slushing one more time.

so much fun at the con people loved the mask and I got interviewed! I freaked the interviewer girl out (and a ton of other people) cuz i was walking/talking like a zombie. I'll have pics up as soon as I can.
