Corvette from Corvette summer

The real car as near as I know is in the hands of Mike Yager

He used to have shots of how they did the right hand drive..if you ever saw it you never want to drive this car.
The right hand drive was a chain and sproket assembly that basically had one sproket at the end of the steering shaft just under the dash and the other sprocket on the shaeft on the left side of the car that lead to the steering box.

It simply look frightening

but I do have this big love affair with this car for some unexplained reason.

I thought this was the coolest car at the time too. And I also was attracted to this film only because "Luke Skywalker" was in it (bit of a shock that he was playing a different role :lol). Haven't watched this movie in decades...

And I think it looks God awful seeing it today too. :lol

Although the real car looks slightly better than the replica.

come on , we all loved the movie it had our hero in it .. that is if you saw it originally ,, and if i am not mistaken . wasn't it two parts. a year apart , or something crazy? granted i was 8-9 years old ,but it seemed like the second episode was a long wait .....
