Custom gun / weapon racks:

Ive got two actually - one is railed the other not - Ones hurricane the other is VFC IIRC but non railed - to be honest I cant remember properly...doh.

I dont play much - not at all in the last year and half.

thats a shame, what i wouldnt give for half that kit LOL, I dont get to play as much as i would like to but hell this isle of ours is cold this time of year... there are a couple of big stirling events comiing up this year which are looking pretty rad.

Well, I know I'm not the only one, but I use Gridwall for my display.
Maybe not quite as nice as the first couple of photos on this thread :D , but I like it. It's extremely easy to change the display around when you add/remove pieces from your collection.[/b]
I like that, alot. Maybe some track lighting and you're good to go. :)

TOMMIN... How many times have I told you? DO NOT POST PICS OF MY WIFE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION...[/b]
Hehehe.... sorry. :D

I like the versitility of the wire rack grid. However I find the grid itself distracting. If and when I do one. I am going to try and use a light color grid against a similar color background.[/b]
I can imagine that, that would look very nice. ...sort of a subtle to null contrast in the background. Post up some pics when it is done. :)

Here's mine. It's been the same since I joined here in '00, the props just change.
It's 3/4 particle board pieces, carpeted, with 1" spacer planks behind them, and drywall screws with rubber tubing over them to hold the props.
As you can see, I'm mostly just into customs, now. I sold off ALL my replica lightsabers and blasters. Only room for my babies, now.;) And anything "vintage", since I got obsessed with Firefly.

Simple, versitile, and effective. I like that..

Has anyone built a rack that is concealed in a cabinet, with a fake front (like a map of the world), that moves to reveal ones arsenal ? Think Wild Wild West t.v. series.
[/b]
OoooHHHH... Now THAT would be nice.. :D

Not much in the way of a sci -fi look to my mounting technique :D Plenty guns from films, or as cloise as I could get - these are all airsoft as I live in the UK. If I lived in the US ...man I`d need a walk in vault.
THis pic is old - so theres lots missing - I`m actually putting up another bit of wall for moutning the other guns with my cinemaquettes and helemts.
Heres a link to some other pics of the wall CLICKY

Yikes... ...that's a lot of gear.. :eek

EXCELLENT.. :D

Not so much for a 'rack' but an interesting choice of background support.

Truck tire. :D It, sort of, sets a theme to the image.

Emeldahay, love the white Slatwall, the guns really pop. I used a light wood tone Slatwall to fit into the office better, in the last house.

But now IÂ’m thinking lit cases and shadowboxing/framing some for the media room. Just have to decide which onesÂ… ;)
