Custom rub-on / dry transfer decal making service?

Can anyone recommend a custom rub-on transfer decal service? I searched and found a couple of old threads but there were no suggestions that people had already used.

I can't do a print-at-home version because the decals I need are white.

Anyone have experience with someplace out there? Thanks!

You may be able to find dry transfer lettering or self-adhesive vinyl letters in white, unless you're doing something custom, which is not text :/

They do make decal paper that you can print and when slid on surface it will be white. And no you don't need an ALPS printer.

What are you looking to do? I know you can get stick on white lettering (they use them where I work for putting employee names on name placards next to their offices).

Are you after a special font or logo? Is it a surface you can paint?

Yeah, the Woodland Scenics letters are good for part of this project, but I'm only using a small subset of letters. I'd like to get custom ones so my stack of wasted sheets doesn't get any taller (not to mention you get better results having everything already lined up in one go). And there are things I'd like to do that aren't just text

I'm not sure that would work for a white design with no background. I think the decal paper you're referring to is just water-slide paper with a white background, right?

I've seen custom made proton pack dry transfers, so there's a company out there *somewhere* that does this. Just gotta find it, lol.

would painting where you want the letters white, then masking it off with tape, and painting the original color over it work?

Also, in miniatures gaming, I've seen people use "the wrong color" decals to good use, by applying them, and then painting white over the decal (essentially the wrong colored decal, is used as a template for where to paint the correct color).

It's fairly fine text and designs, about 1/8" tall, so paint masks wouldn't work unfortunately.

If worse comes to worst it could be done with custom waterslide decals (printed in white and on a clear backing) but dry transfers are easier to use and are authentic to the props I want them for.

Yes that's correct. He could always create a shadow behind so that the logo could be seen.
