Here's an image I did some photoshop to. It's not perfect, or high resolution, but it should look pretty good printed. On the badge the image size is only about an inch, so that should cover the flaws with the image. What color should the background be?

Propstore is auctioning off a production-used pulse rifle! Lots of Farscape items have shown up in their auctions over the years, and most of them haven't sold. There are some great reference photos on their web site.

Here's their description:

Lot #: 107
Peacekeeper Pulse Rifle
FARSCAPE (TV 1999-2003)
A Peacekeeper Pulse Rifle from the sci-fi television show Farscape. The Pulse Rifle was a standard issue weapon of the militant Peacekeepers, with multiple variants seen in use throughout the show's run.

Made of fibreglass, the weapon features elaborate detailing across the receiver, grips and barrel, and features a cast-in scope running along the top of the receiver. The futuristic rifle is finished in metallic gunmetal grey paint with washes and distressing applied to make the weapon appear well-used. The piece displays some minor wear from production use, including scratches to the left side of the scope and grips. Dimensions: 58 cm x 9 cm x 24 cm (22 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 9 1/2")

Estimate: £1500 - £2000

Peacekeeper Wars Creation Entertainment stubt casting. Not worth what they're asking with no proof that it was actually used in the show and not a licensed replica.

I'm pretty sure the Creation Entertainment replica came out before PK Wars and they used the mold to make quick blasters for the miniseries. So while they're technically accurate, out of the 11 versions of the gun seen in the show they're not what I'd consider one of the good ones.

Whilst this post is bumped...may as well chuck in the props I made for my Aeryn costume.

The Pulse Pistol is from the old Dreamland Replica's linage which has definitely been re-cast all over the place. The only modification I did to this was to replace the original side-greeblie with a little key-chain lazerpen/torch, its a little longer than the original but I think its worth it to make the prop a little more alive.

The Pulse Rifle was thrown together over a few days before a con and is nowhere even close to any screen used version. Its based off of a cheap springer Famas BB rifle. Weirdly this rifle has very similar dimensions to the original style of pulse rifle prop. I'm planning on refining this prop over time mostly by replacing the front area around the barrel as I think that's the area that looks least like the original prop. I'll probably replacing it with a completely hand made prop eventually.

Hi guys
I just found this thread and am delighted that there is still interest on the props from Farscape
As I worked in the Farscape prop shop , I can give some back story's of creating some of these props
I still have many warm memories of this show and the truly great crew to work with

The Supersocker gun were a quick fix as the production had not designed or order the weapons for that days shoot from us
so we had only a short time to come up with a prop and get it on set .
I will be watching this thread and if I can help with what I can remember from back then ,I will be glad to shear

regards Gary

Hi Gary! Ive still never been able to figure out how the season 1 pistol holster clip works, or what it may be from. Any insight on those?

Hi Dr Talyn
I joined the production on season two, when they had moved out of Fox Studios Sydney to a bunch of warehouses near the Sydney Olympic site,
that gave us more stage space as we had many standing sets. From memories I think there was 19 stages to hold all the sets.
The guns were made by the guys on season one in props construction, we cast resin extras as they did tend to get broken on set often.
The holsters fell under the domain of wardrobe department, so I don't have any recollections of their construction.
Sorry I could not be of any help on this one
Gary
