Star Wars Han Solo ANH DL-44 Hero steel Mauser replica

Sold for 1350 USD
Here's one nicely weathered DL-44. It tries to recreate the state of the prop as captures in these references:

It's was sent to me to "de-idealize" and offer it for sale along with couple of other blasters. Honestly, I wish I could keep it for myself as it turned out pretty nice and recently it was posted that Blaster Factory will not make any more steel Mausers. So I assume soon these will become rarer than the MGCs. But I can't afford that, in fact I'm in the process of selling my own collection as well, so unfortunately I'll have to let that one go too.

Besides the weathering there are a number of little tweaks and adjustments of the kit to make it look more accurate.

1. Filed the handle so it fits nicely with the wooden grips (Not sure why, but on most (all?) blaster factory steel mausers that I've worked on the metal frame sticks out of the wooden grips making it both looking incorrect and not very comfortable to hold).
2. Added a screw tip going out of the brass ring on the grip. That's another thing that bugs me a lot on these kits as it is so obviously wrong and I can't imagine that few mm longer screws would be so much more expensive to include...
3. Moved the flash hider forward and down, tilted on one side to match the reference pictures. It's press-fit and the change is fully reversible if the new owner prefers more idealized position of the flash hider (the original screw is included and needed if you want to change this)
4. Scope is not parallel to the barrel.
5. The idealized "front-sight" greeblies (piece of t-track and 2 tomtit "antennas") were removed and replaced with what appears to be left of them on the reference images (the idealized piece is included if you want to swap that)
6.The idealized aluminum grip was replaced with one made from 3 tomtit cylinders (tried to match the little angles and offsets too).
7.The tabs on the back side of the mount cradle are filed flat and a little chip is added next to the screw
8. Added the iconing "hump" behind the bolt-stop from a blued piece of metal
9.Punched proof marks and serial numbers on the upper, the bolt, hammer and lock frame
10. A minor thing, but just to make it 10 - filed flat the set screws for the mount so they can be weathered accurately

The stand seen on some pictures is not included in the sale (and is not a good fit for this blaster anyway, so don't ask :) )

I think that's about it , check the pictures and if you are interested PM me for shipping and payment options.

Ooops, forgot to mention that whoever buys it first gets a free Sparklets canister

What an incredible piece! If it was located in Europe, I'd probably snap it up! But it's a bit too expensive to take the risk that Belgium customs confiscate it because it resembles a real weapon too much... :(

Eeh, if I could easily take my blasters to Europe I wouldn't be selling
