I was asked by them to come up with as many fixes as possible in the short time span between now and when the preorders open. Miki Ooyagi, the owner of Headgoonie, is receiving the first sample jacket personally soon from his facility to inspect in person. He simply uploaded the photos he was given by his staff.

Overall the shape of the jacket is good. No real problems there. However the top blue parts and pocket flaps are wrong as we have pointed out recently. The color is also an issue. I don't believe they used the right oxford denim that was supposed to be used for the main parts that we were shown earlier this year. Looks like leftover 2021 fabric. I pointed that out to him. Awaiting a reply.

It looks great, I'm excited for the final reveal. I'd expect there to be finer details to iron out in any project like this where the fans are so passionate.

I thought the top parts were the right shape, but too short.

Ignoring the fabric deformities on the top button, and they line up like this. This might just be scaling differences with the pockets, as HeadGoonie's looks more like a modern medium or large, judging by the buttons.

Oh man, I messaged the guy who runs Headgoonie about the color. Looks pretty shaky so far. Hopefully they get this right. Those other choices for the color are wild already.

With the buttons being the wrong snaps, I don’t think they can make the right snaps anymore as they are using a different factory or something to that effect, right?
They made an attempt at it in 2021. It looked ok. Not sure about 2023. I haven't seen one in person.

I think it would help if they made a prototype using the size 18 measurements, since that's what it's supposed to actually look like.
That would be nice, but a size 18 is ever so slightly smaller than a traditional US Men's small. Which is what they are going for. My personal project used size 18 measurements. It won't be done in time to show them though.
