Interesting. This is the first time I've seen a variation like that. Two sides being that drastically different. The right side is very close to my estimate using an admittedly not so accurate measurement method.

What exactly is the application process that creates the dimple on the Marty jacket vs other Guess jackets?
It has something to do with the process in which they are pressed in. The tool must be shaped in a way that gives them the iconic indent.
Guess was basically running onshore sweatshops back then. (Not basically, they were sued for it) So, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are 1/4” discrepancies across a lot of their lines.
Checking my Adult Guess yoke jacket, the difference from the tip of that part to the zipper on the pockets differs by 1/8”
That said, I think most of the discrepancy is because the point on one side is sewn more sloppily which is probably just making it a little shorter, making the length to the pocket longer.

I bought one from one of the first runs, and I can see the improvements here. My question is are you able to make them bigger? I got the biggest one and it's still too small.
Even XL is too small for you? If that's the case, that's the biggest they make them.

I have sent this picture to HG in the past, but just to be sure they remember it for this anniversary jacket I sent it again. The 2021 jacket blue denim was perfect. Here it is compared to London's correct color vest.

Does London have a full photo of the 2021 next to his vest? Just curious how close/far off they go it.
Unfortunately we don't have a picture like that. All of the photos you see of any comparisons of the 2021 jacket or the Mexican jacket to his vest are taken by me. At the time he lived within driving distance of me.

Yep. The 2021 HG jacket was mine. I have since sold it though.

I’ve been traveling for work and not really keeping up. Is there anything you’re worried about you think could use more opinions?
Ah no worries. And off the top of my head, perhaps the height and width of the pockets. As well as the length of the arm triangles. These things tend to be off by considerable margins. Your size 18 jacket is good to base things off of for their size Small jacket. Id measure the pockets from my vest but it is currently in Pakistan for Magnoli Clothiers.
