Search also for 'Matrix katana' for a similar sword with an identical tsuba.

I just won the same tsuba in copper for a katana I have already, with balck 'skin'.
The show doesn't even begin to air over here until the 19th.

Now that Hiro has the sword, I wonder if he'll just carry it around to boost his powers or if we'll see him use it properly. He could always pull a 'Bill and Ted' and become a samurai-master in the blink of an eye...

I, like the show have been on hiatus from this project. But I will be getting back to it very soon and post progress when I do.

Drew it up in AI and lasered it out of 1/16" plex to test the size and shape. I will try to get some brass and mill one out sometime soon.

Hey all, I'm looking into having the symbols waterjetted. One version for the sword and one for the Hatians necklace. Once I have that info, I will start an interest thread for those items.

I don't think I will offer a completed sword, but as I work on mine I am taking lots of pics and will put up a tutorial of sorts for those interested.

I think making symbol the would be a far simpler task than re-wrapping the tsuka :unsure

I checked a few specialist sites where novices were pretty much being told to send their sword to an expert rather than attempt it themself.

It appears the screen used sword is inexpertly re-wrapped too, so perhaps I can emulate that...
