Re: Jhusel's Collection (as it stands today)

I am absolutely jealous of your Klingon collection. If you need extra room, you can always store them at my house. :D

Thanks for the offer! LOL. The Klingon Collection is a fun one to collect, you don't see much of it around. I've really enjoyed tracking down and building these pieces.

Re: Jhusel's Collection (as it stands today)

No lack communication for you eh . lol WOW man. that rocks. If I may. were do you keep your massive collection? displayed or stored. I may have asked this before. if so. please forgive an old man's memory...

Freaking ROCKS! :thumbsup

Re: Jhusel's Collection (as it stands today)

A few things displayed, but 90% is locked up in an climate controlled storage until I get a place big enough to display. Sucks not having most of it to look at, but one day....

Re: Jhusel's Collection (as it stands today)

Here is my latest addition, just finished building it last night. I picked up a Nicksdad kit few weeks ago and started working on it as I had time. A few details - I opted to have the non-show side panel welded to the receiver, as well as the fin on the nozzle. I didn't want to glue it, it just didn't feel right to do that to an all metal prop gun. So it's solid as a rock! I also used molly resin paint that is used to paint real firearms to paint it, so it's very durable. I also didn't want it to look all the same shade of black, I wanted a more convincing "firearm" look. Then I contacted Rylo and picked up one of his awesome display stands for it. I love how it looks!

Was wondering on those Phebert shields.... Looks beautiful (but so does the blaster rifle :) )

Re: Jhusel's Collection (as it stands today) - 1/5 update

Holy Moley, that's one heck of a collection, jhusel. I hope you get a chance to display it all at once some day!

Re: Jhusel's Collection (as it stands today) - 1/5 update

I wanted something from Logan's Run to display with my Sandman Gun, but I couldn't find an accurate Ankh anywhere. So I decided to make one this weekend in my shop. Not bad for a little over an hour's worth of work.

I made a template from a screenshot and made it out of aluminum. Wasn't too hard, few holes drilled and.a bandsaw.
