Thanks for the video. I'm very much a visual person. I've been researching what method to use to fuse the pieces together (epoxy or weld). Unfortunately, I threw out any additional scraps that came with the BS like the head strap.
I used very fine mesh for Predatormasks in mine.Bought this stuff years ago on ebay.

Thanks man.
The mesh is from ebay UK years ago.I bought it for my predator 2 biomasks visor. So it was sold as Predator eyemesh.
If something looks usefull I buy it and it can be that I need it years later!:lol
Looked back in the thread to check out your build and found nothing... looks like you fixed the mouth section (layered)...
I'm curious how much you've modded it... more pics?!
I did not made a tutorial because other guys did that here.I used the complete sharper front(frontpanel and mouthplate)of the disneymask, built new sideparts, painted the complete helmet matt black, drilled out the missing holes on the chromepart and attached a thick layer of fiberglass in the helmet. And I removed all this bad weathering from the chromeparts with nail polish remover.
I will add some of the texture of the Propshop helmet also..but I must look whats the best way for this first.
I could see what I have left at home if you wanted to just pay for the shipping you can have it. I'm in Canada, so if you're in the States it'd probably be cheaper from someone there if they have scraps for you.
Anyone know the best way to carve out the details on the helmet to make neat and movie like? Wondering if there is a way of making it look good without the use of a dremel.
It'd still be cool to see more pics.I have one of those helmets coming, and gotta make a game plan.
Still not entirely sure how to attach the Disney face plate to the Black Series... maybe once in hand I'll have a better idea.
After Anavos cancelled the 300 helmet on me, this is my chance at a decent helmet.

Started my mods this week. Welded helmet together and then used inner liner to fill the gaps. However, I'm guessing I didn't heat some of the plastic enough since I'm able to pick some spots off with little work. Some areas are rock solid so it does bond. I'm going to sand whole helmet then use a 2 part epoxy and coat whole helmet and let cure for an even coat. I cut the side dome and folded the flare out some to match the movie version a bit more.
