Lando (Disney+ series)

when Dallas was killed, everyone left followed her orders, not because she was female, or girl power, it was because she was a good leader and right, major flaw in Alien, no nudity---arrghhh
And wasn't she the First Officer aboard the Nostromo thus next in the chain of command after Dallas? If that's the case, they followed her orders not so much because she was a good leader but because she was lawfully in charge after Dallas. Granted, they weren't military or even paramilitary, but they did work in part of a company where there was an established chain of command that everyone was expected to follow.

They really need to make announcements for Disney Projects that actually are going to come to fruition…Weird how troubled all these Star Wars productions have been since Disney took over.

In Hollywood it's normal for tons of projects to be "in development hell" and never get made.

What sets Disney-LFL apart is that they seem to publicly announce all of theirs.

I remember pilots were plentiful on main TV channels back in the day..
Sometimes movie length sometimes 30 minutes..
The difference was they were spread over ahem..three to four channels here in the UK where as SW Disney is effectively one.

They need to veer away from trawling past characters and write something new.
Maybe dare I say it just take a rest.

Andor worked..
Ashoka did most of the time..
Mando was and should have been a hard hitting Boba killing spree..
Kenobi should have never happened but I liked the character.

Unless they trope genres mix it up it's not going to survive..

Anything would work if they started making quality for a change.

They could go wild with genres.
Do 'Breaking Bad' on Tatooine.
Set an office comedy on the Death Star.
A 'Fast & Furious' heist/chase in various places.
'Blade Runner' on Coruscant.
A teen slasher movie on Naboo or Dagobah.
'The Thing' on Hoth.

Any of it would work with good creative writing/storytelling.
None of it would work without it.

Disney's top execs/producers are out of touch. They don't understand how times have changed. The public's standards for writing have gone up since the last century. Just like the standards are higher for image resolution, good lighting & sound, fight scenes, CGI spectactle, etc.

Too bad, the Bespin labor negotiation scenes were going to be intense.

You sir have obviously not dealt with the Mining Guild or Ugnaughts!

My 21yo nephew has been saying since he was little that they should do a Crocodile Hunter style show where they go around to different planets and explore the wildlife.
