Yes they will fit, Actually something I totally forgot to mention is that the binding post and weaver knob supplied in this kit are in fact cast from originals and not from Anders files

All thanks to your fantastic build guide The bluing is a bit darker than the above picture shows

It is possible that attempts to remove rust also resulted in removing bluing on the original prop. No one ever mentions this, but it does explain why the original does not match the film. I suspect this is what happened.
