Sometimes, when a prop replica is made, not only does it surpass expectations, but it makes me feel that the replica in fact looks and plays the part better than any screen-used & hero one.
This is one of those times
It's a Wraith Stunner from Stargate Atlantis, made by Karl here on the board (kwalsh0000), cast from one of the show's stunt stunners.
In Stargate Atlantis, the Wraith base all their technology on organic matter.
However, I have always felt that, when there is a fleeting chance to observe a Wraith Stunner on screen, the hero ones always seem to look too 'fake' and plasticy.

Due to what I think is a freak of the business :lol, this stunt prop, in my opinion, plays the part better than a hero one, and, combined with Karl's skills, I feel happy not only because this replica has its roots in the show itself, but it is, again IMO, more 'authentic' to the Wraith and their organic technology.
