Alan have you thought about costumes on manakins in your prop room as a full cloak with the awards would look great.

Actually Alric, it in fact did cross my mind ! 3 things stopped me though.

- Space. If I start with one, I'd want more. I'm not into costumes and didn't want to open a can of worms, as they'd probably do a facehugger job on me :lol

- There in fact was one on eBay, but it was way too expensive IMO.

- I can't sew that well to do one myself :lol

Alan wifey not in to sewing ? If you can get her involved in the prop hobby you may be able to get away with props in other rooms of the house

I finally managed to get my hands on Hotshot's Resolute Olmec Plank from National Treasure 2 :thumbsup

I always find the way Rhett has the capability of creating such intricate & 'rustic' replicas at the drop of a hat amazing :eek

I think it fits in nicely here

He sure did. The two Resolute planks were supposed to fit together in the movie. One was in the Queen's desk (this one), and the other one in the President's desk in Washington. The latter was 'missing' in the movie, only a picture existed. Rhett did that one too, a brilliant idea indeed :thumbsup

SERIOUSLY!? HOLY CRAP! This collection is SICK! I have not seen this much awesome stuff in a personal collection. Lot's of my favorites in here too! So it makes it seem even more fantastic!
