Mynock cave - Falcon Oxygen Mask

Found part- green insert to mask. The part can be taken from the oxygen mask pictured below. You will have to work the glue free. Once disconnected, insert into your other green mask till it sort of snaps in, using E6000 to secure it. As you see in the pic, the inside of the tube now matches up with Han's. The mask can be purchased here, you can search online to get discount codes (NEWCUST for 5%, REORDER for 25%).

Yeah, I don't personally believe Han's whole mask is green, just thr connecting piece. Looks like Ryan Clinton has the right one. I (hopefully) have one of these on the way!

Hi folks,

after extensively studying the Mynock scene again, I agree with OdiWan that the upper cylindrical part at the sparklets head may be a transcriptor part. I wasn‘t able to identify any milled grooves on it, there are several opportunities to have a look on the top of it and it‘s a flat circular part.

The reflections of the light on the cylinder ,when you have a look step by step, match with a knurled surface.

I made one to see how it looks like. What do you think?

Looking good, even if the knurling on the sweeparm part is more coarse (sp?).

Lets see some more photos. This was the scene that took me to my design. Love the correction on the knob if there are better pics. This was very tough to make out. Also, if there is new consensus on the knob I can cast up a new version to include with sets going forward and even replace the ones already sent. Just need something to mold!

Ran out of time yesterday, but here are some unedited photos I pulled from the breath mask scene this morning... Based on the way the light hits the knob throughout, I think the previous bits we considered "grooves" are just shadows. It's very hard to snag a good, clear still to further denote any knurling (stop MOVING so much Harrison, geeeez. Haha). I DO like the idea of using a transcriptor knob (or similar 70s-era audio component) as that feels more right to me from a "greeblie"/real-world standpoint, but this specific decision may come down to one of personal preference. Ultimately, I think both Cameron 's original knob and the new, knurled suggestion, look great and are viable options! :)

I think I'm in the knurled knob camp, over the "grooved" knob theory. Upon second look those "groove shadows" definitely seem to just be some visual trickery. Where's Disney Plus with the 15K ultra re-release???

That last picture seems to confirm it.
