My tube measures 26 5/8" long with lid screwed on.

3" wide outside. 2 1/2" inside

9 3/4" diameter

I believe this one is the same one they used in the film. An inside measurement of 3 1/2" would be way to big I think.

I was watching N.T. again the other day, and I believe you are correct regarding 2 1/2" being the correct size width!

Updated the first post with the new BOS offering as well as Taz's 3rd Washington button, some house cleaning, etc.

We got some great work going on by fellow members on making a set of free paper props of the Silence Dogood letters. They would look like the prop ones but unlike them they would be the complete letters. They are readily available from various websites and we just need the correct font and that way they can be posted and then people can print them off on their own aged paper. Some guys have done some amazing work on this so far.

Steiff does a reproduction of the one of the left center, but I'm not sure if they do the others as well.

That's rather interesting. I don't think they are mine but without having them in hand it is hard to tell. Also a bunch of those aren't in the film. Can you perhaps pm me a link I'd like to talk to the maker about them. They aren't too bad.

On that topic I have all the masters done and am waiting on the post to deliver my pewter and rtv. Then its full steam ahead on the remaming few...finally! lol

Good news, Taz...

I don't think these are recasts, some of the medallions are bigger than Taz' medallions... I don't know, but if I WOULD recast something I would try to match the original size...
