The Rey ForceFX Elites are starting to hit Ross for $60. I picked one up last week, and I gotta say, for what it is, I'm impressed. I had no experience with the Elite line prior, having bowed out after MR folded, but it's nice to be able to remove the blade. I'm sure it's oversized as heck, but since I don't care at all about the ST that doesn't bother me. I would never have paid MSRP for it, but for $60? Absolutely.

IMHO, those BS Rey lightsabers are very nice replicas. I bought two last year on clearance (for my daughter and I). Not as good as the Ross prices. But I highly recommend them. Even if you just want to take the blade out and display the hilt.

I been going once a week because they are staring to gear up for the holidays. A couple of years ago I got the Hasbro fx first order baton for $60. Been picking up some figures and Hotwheels die cast ships the last couple weeks. Now there are reports of the LO-LA figure at $10.

They cast it in metal, and then paint it to look like plastic.
It looks like a Power Rangers Zoid sword to me.

THAT’S IT! I couldn’t put my finger on it.
I don’t know much about the high republic. I’m thinking that in an attempt to match known images of this hilt, the end result was more artist stylized than what you might see if it were in a live action series or movie.
