I hope, I hope you're right about the Neca shark. It's been 3 years since we've seen the tease photo. Back in June before SDCC Randy Falk said yes 100. Did that mean 100% or 100 made. Ok, you can tell us, did you put Quint in the sharks mouth? lol

Love the update :cool:(y)(y):notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:...maybe it's me but it seems that some of the ropes are a bit too pristine:unsure:
Or you haven't got to the wear & tear part of the build:unsure:;)

Flimzy,
Must again compliment you on your ship building talent. While not studio scale subjects, I have done some large railroad car ferries and a number of warships following original plans. Therefore, greatly appreciate your ability on major structure and detail work. Paint job & weathering (which I am terrible at) is also well done.

With all the great pics.... kind of wondering what your Brody would look like on a scaled little rubber dingy, paddle in hand, holding up an electrical cable, and that Bruce chewing down on it riding the lightning....

Hello Filmzy. Just like you have already done, I would like to challenge myself to build a 1/9 scale ORCA now that I have a NECA Quint however I thought I would start of with Quint's barrels. I am modelling the barrels and would like to request if you could confirm the dimensions you used? I found some information online that the barrels in the movie measured 32.5" high. At 1/9 scale I have calculated the height of the barrels at 91.72mm high...is that plausible? I don't have a diameter or circumference of the barrels; is that something you are willing to share too? Thank you for your time and I love your work! AA-Ron

I got mine from shapeways (bought one cast four more) the dimensions were 10.61cm tall x 6.81cm wide x 5.22cm base tapered at the top and bottom. (can you tell which barrel isn't cast resin?) Can't wait to see a build thread of your Orca.
