Hey all!

We've just posted a neat project. We did a light restore and custom display for an original Batsuit from Batman Forever.

The head is a modded lifecast of Kilmer, the base is custom foam, themed to a bat-cave style. The cape is the only non-original element. It's a replica we sourced and then tweaked and painted to complete the display.

We've got some more pics in the timeline on our facebook page, so please give that a visit (and click like if you want to see more like this in your newsfeed!) Tom Spina Designs | Facebook )

Hope you enjoy the pics :)

Looks fantastic. The base is a brilliant piece of work, and really adds to the whole display. Love seeing Screen used Batsuits!

Awesome to see this beauty is still in great condition!
Still my most favorite Batman costume design, despite the nipples... :confused

Fantastic display. The base give him some extra height as welll which make it look even more impressive.

This is my favourite batsuit, I especially like the cowl. Thanks for sharing.

Light restore = clean and touch up? or was there foam damage?

Looks great, but the cod...... seams really really shrunken, short and curled in on itself....

those aren't panther legs though, they are Robin legs (in case you didn't know, but I'm thinking you might), that's why they don't sit on the mannequin legs correctly allowing them to sit under the cod instead of at the side of it....

the robin legs have twice the muscle of the panthers... Odonnel is a very very very thin small guy (kinda like a woman) , so his legs were sculpted extra heavy by Teves (at the request of Schulmakers team) to help make him look similar in size to Val. The Robin legs are about as close to a buff human anatomy as possible. The panther legs are more along the lines of a well toned human anatomy.

I love love love love seeing full suits get the proper display attention, so much of these just get stored away in a box on the floor.

I'm envious of the owner, since he has one of the very very few original belts out there, its more rare than the suit. LOL

Very very nice effort on the part of you and your team. I just finished looking at your Vermithrax retore project photos and I think I drooled a little on my keyboard . LOL

Thanks for all the kind words! Bat pieces are always a challenge and we're glad folks like what we've done :)

BATS, I can't speak to the particulars of the suit pieces (we work with what our clients provide us, of course) but overall condition was good and it needed general foam repair like most other film used suits.

Redbird, the cape is a latex replica and a good match for the film look. The pics don't do these things justice :)

Thanks again!
Best,
Tom
