Yeah, if there is anyone considering doing a run on ROTJ blasters or parts, please keep me in mind. Even if it is sometime down the road. I'd love to get the "trio" of Solo blasters and since it looks like MR isn't going to get to the ROTJ route, it looks like I'll need to go the fan-made version.

It sure is a sweet looking blaster.

I've tried doing runs in the past but there's never enough interest.

I guess this version just isn't as popular as the others.

I never posted a picture of the other side of my ROTJ. I just put together the other version tonight. I'm not sure if I'm done yet or not.

Mine ist still sitting in boxes, waiting to be assembled with a real MGC.
Problem is that I don´t have a chance to get the milled details on the blasters left side done and don´t want to put it together without :unsure

Evan:
Nice Muppet blaster!
I´d take a closer look on the reference pics, since the angles on your scope bracket seem to be a bit off, as well as the placement of the bumber and piston half. The visible barrel is also a bit too long IMHO.
Anyway....it´s always nice to see that rare blaster brought to live :thumbsup

Let's not forget there are two MGC based ROTJ Han blasters. The more common one is usually nicknamed the 'Bunker' version.

I'm saving one of my MGCs to do the other version, but the milled details are slightly different on that one and there is a serious lack of reference pictures. :(

Boba Debt has machined both versions of the flash hider. :thumbsup

Yeah, I knew I had to cheat the angles a bit. I wanted to use what I had on hand rather than making new stuff to exactly match. As for the barrel length, that might not be hard to change. The muzzle isn't glued on. Though it is on there TIGHT. I just used the commonly accepted Hero bull barrel length, thinking that it was likely a cast of the Hero. If I made the main part of the scope bracket from scratch, making it taller and longer, it would look correct. I'd have to re-seat the left part. That's a project for another day. I'm happy with it for now.

...PLUS there´s the strange version with the reversed H&W scope on it.
Ahhhh... I love variations :lol

Nice to see this thread has come to life a little bit. :D

I agree, Dave. This blaster does not get "the love" that the others do. :(

If I wanted to find picture of all the solo blasters in side by side pictures, where would I look? :)

I've always preferred the ROTJ DL-44 over the other variants. :)
Here's my attempt.

I still have a bit more weathering to do on this, particularly on the flash hider. I'll probably add the screws to the square and pistons at a later date.

Bumping this thread since there are some great looking blasters here and a brand new muzzle sign up in the junkyard.

This new muzzle will be the most accurate one ever made of this version. I made a few updates to the front interior since I blueprinted the last version for Bobadebt. This long-cubed version of the muzzle was used on one of the ROTJ MGC's as well as the Stembridge firing MGC. The cubes are equally spaced since the two screen used muzzles are different and the uneven spacing was obviously not on purpose.

I'm gathering my parts as we speak. I'm in for the new muzzle. All I need is the scope and I'm going to try and chronicle my conversion.
Cheers, Kevin

I'm getting closer to having my blaster finished, and will post pics soon.
