Getting the internal parts assembled, and found some areas that need some slight adjustments.

Upon closer inspection, this upper torso is another flavor of complexity.

The shapes looked simple, but modeling them was a different story!
And I still need to figure out how to make things work for assembly & transformation.

The hood/intake section was a lot more work than expected. Still experimenting on the best way to get the chest shapes to look right.

And more minor adjustments to the turret towers and a few internal parts. I think it's complete enough for partitioning & printing the rest of it.

The canopy section is taking shape, and I think I'm happy with the chest shapes (for now).

This might take a while, but now it looks a lot better with the canopy & pilot in place.

Printing has resumed, and most of the internal parts are done. There a few more parts that need adjustment, but good old cutting & sanding will do for now.

Made some progress on this guy's hands, too.

The idea of eventually having both models side by side is pretty exciting!

Starting on the waist segment & proportion changes to the hands.

Thanks! It has a few more features built in, I'm just waiting for the prints to finish.


The proportions & details are significantly different, next to the version 1 model.

The details are looking pretty good so far - pretty decent for basic print settings.

I guess the epic-ness will start ramping up pretty soon!


The parts are printing a little weird in a few places, causing more cleanup than necessary, and poor fit - I might need to work on my settings.
On the bright side, the heel suspension feature works!
