Screen used props?

I've got a lot of my stuff stuffed in the back of the closet but one day, when I have some more space I plan to take over one room and turn it into my cave.

Re: How do you display your Original/Screen-Used Props?

Screen used Pirate coins / treasure from the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie as well as coins from the premiere party at Disneyland (on left) ...

Compass is the modified spinning toy so pay no attention that.

Re: How do you display your Original/Screen-Used Props?

Re: How do you display your Original/Screen-Used Props?

I use different methods for my screen-used props.

Light-Frame:

Standard Frame with Velvet Inner

Glass Cabinet:

Acrylic Case:

So it basically depends on the piece..still sky is the limit!
I custom build and design nearly all my cases..and that's half the fun!

Re: How do you display your Original/Screen-Used Props?

If you liked the SAW display..than wait for another week until my new full-size Clementine display from Eternal Sunshine is ready :)

Re: How do you display your Original/Screen-Used Props?

For you're particular collection I would recommend two parallel glass cabinets from Ikea and your shadowboxes right down the middle. Be sure to get the ones with the lighting inside the glass cabinets, it will light up the whole display.

Just a suggestion taking a look at your particular collection. It won't take up that much space and will fit in a corner nicely.

Re: How do you display your Original/Screen-Used Props?

Wow, thats the first time I have ever seen panties displayed as a screen used item. (Never saw the film they are from...)
Very nice displays all the same, quite impressive.

Re: How do you display your Original/Screen-Used Props?

..didn't see the screen used part. I'm too poor for that. lol

So, my displays depend on room at the moment, not that there's much to display.

Re: How do you display your Original/Screen-Used Props?

As for displaying screen-used, the only pieces I have from the movie Sahara are shadowboxed. Otherwise, I say Ikea is your friend when looking for display cabinets and shelving.

Re: How do you display your Original/Screen-Used Props?

You own a screen used prop and don't know the movie it's coming from? :)

Re: How do you display your Original/Screen-Used Props?

Probably the worst movie EVER made: Street Fighter

DING! Correct! on both accounts from what I've heard, I actually haven't seen it. I didn't mind the look of it and only paid $30 AU (about $2.50 US...:lol) for it.

Kraig

Kraig, i would love to pick your brain on this prop. your PM box is full, so i hope you see this.

Well, my screen used collection is laughable in comparison to most, but what I have I like though.

AR-1 grenade launcher used in Alien Resurrection....

This I've had for a while, it's supposed to be screen used, I don't know though I've never seen the movie, but I bought it for only $40 AU (about $5.50 US....lol)
