So what current cartoons do you watch?

Wolverine and the X-men. It was really pretty good but got canceled by nicktoons in favor of craptastic shows.

I personally prefer the word "Animation" rather than "cartoons"

Legend of Korra
Dragons; Defenders of Berk
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Simpsons
Family Guy
Spongebob
Beware the Batman (new season maybe?)
Ultimate Spiderman
Marvels Avengers Assemble (coming this Sunday)

My list currently reads:

Adventure Time
Regular Show
Spongebob Squarepants
Metalocalypse
Bob's Burgers
And, yes, I'm one of those people that actually likes American Dad and Family Guy. :D

For you anime fans out there, Silver Spoon S2 has just started up and by just started I mean that it's only 1 episode in so far. Great little show that's really down to earth and heartwarming and gives you a new look/appreciation of farming and animal husbandry.

Adventure Time
Bob's Burger
The Powerpuff girls
Courage the cowardly dog
The Simpsons
Futurama

Probably many others xD

Regular Show
Adventure Time
Spongebob (seasons 1-3)
South Park (though I don't enjoy the new ones much)
Futurama

"Rick and Morty" have gotten my attention.
Sort of based on Marty and Doc Brown but, well.. different.

"The series is created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, and is based on Justin Roiland's Channel 101 shorts, "The Real Animated Adventures of Doc and Mharti", which were inspired by Back to the Future's Emmett Brown and Marty McFly.[1] In an interview with Harmon, he stated his inspiration behind much of the concept and humor for the series being various British television series, such as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Doctor Who. He made a comparison with the latter series, saying that "you do start to get a picture of the size of Rick's world." Harmon figures the audience will only understand developments from Morty's point of view, but stated "we don't want to be the companions. We want to hang out with the Doctor, we idolize the Doctor, but we don't think like him, and that's really interesting, Rick is diseased, he's mentally ill, he's an absolute lunatic because he lives on this larger scale."[2]

Roiland stated his and Harmon's intentions for the series to lack traditional continuity, opting for discontinuous storylines "not bound by rules". The pair also stated that they ruled out storylines related to time travel.[3] In a similar interview session at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con International, he described each episode as being "[their] own point of entry".[4] He stated that the series is retroscripted, primarily for Rick's lines.[3] In the United States, the series is rated TV-14. Roiland explains that under their contract with Adult Swim, he and Harmon have more flexibility with "dark" settings, he stated, that are similar to that of British children TV shows.[2]"

Bumping this thread once again. I've been watching shows that I've intended to watch but never got to it. High School of the Dead being one of them. Title pretty much says it all when a zombie pandemic hits and high school students fend for themselves.

The other show I've been watching is Arpeggio of Blue Steel. It is amazing. Naval warfare between aliens and humans is one way to describe it. Or if Space Battleship Yamato's setting was in Earth's oceans is another apt description.

Arpeggio was pretty interesting and was rather enjoyable, it could have benefitted from a guaranteed second season for pacing,

-Beware the Bat
-If "Archer" counts as a cartoon, otherwise it's my favorite animated Sitcom
-Gijoe renegade it's a shame it got cancelled, would have been great if it got made into a Life-action series
-Tron Uprising such great animation

Also watching:

-The translated into Spanish early 1970's "Mazinger Z" episodes
-Dai Apolon
DAI-APOLON - INTRO - YouTube

And I just finished another series called Kyoukai no Kanata or Beyond the Boundary. I put it to the wayside after the first couple of episodes but am so glad I picked it up again. I actually got emotionally attached to certain characters in this show. Last show to do that to me was Sword Art Online. Next up on the queue will probably be Dangan Ronpa.

And if anyone is watching Kill la Kill, the last three episodes have gone beyond epic with the multiple plot twists.

Two that I currently follow regularly:
Regular Show - The semi-adult humor of this show is what I love the most
Amazing World of Gumball - Honestly, the best kid's cartoon on TV in recent memory for me. It's so incredibly well done; from writing to direction. Second season is such an improvement on the first.

Two that I watch when it's on just to pass time:
Adventure Time - I'm not cool enough to get this show.
Steven Universe - There's equal parts good stuff and bad stuff. Colors and backgrounds of the show are great; the writing and characters, not so much. It's a shame that this show follows the inept, incompetent, chubby autistic kid that's really loud and obnoxious rather than the superheroes that go on wild and fun adventures. It could work in the currently formula if the show was just, well, made more competently.

I kind of like Foster's home for imaginary playmates............at least I think that's the name--something like that.

Lately "Rick and Morty" (ready for new episodes) and "Space Dandy".

Sent from my Etch A Sketch.

And revisiting this thread since the spring anime season has been gaining steam. I've been watching Black Bullet, Akuma no Riddle, No Game No Life, Gokukoku no Brynhildr, and after a year long hiatus, both Dragon Ball Kai and Fairy Tail are back with new episodes!
