Ahhh. I see. Well, it's going to be pretty difficult to get to the bottom of this without Thomas's input.
The only thing Thomas would be able to add, is confirmation that Strider actually bought an SL from him. And that wouldn't prove anything because in order to make a copy you need a real one, so chances are he did buy one from Thomas. However, what he sent to Vader45 is absolutely not an SL made by Steve. I looked back in the threads and Strider himself mentioned getting his SL in 2017 and Steve made the very last one in 2018. Which means Striders helmet ( if he did buy from Thomas) should have been made by Steve and would display his methods and materials for laying fiberglass.

Well I purchased an efx dome to go with the mask. It looks beautiful despite this not being an original SL mask. It's staying in my collection.
Strider who sold me the mask did not respond back on TPD when I presented him all the proof that this isn't an original Steve cast. That proves to me he lied. Before hand he would respond with in 24hrs.
Anyway some pics. With all of that said the detail and finish have some quality and effort put into it.

regardless of what it is or what its not, This is a great looking piece and you should be proud of it. Just make sure the seller makes things right by you.

Is against the rules on the forums to provide recasts on TPD? if so, just report it to a moderator/administrator about the issue.
