Star Wars Plug and Control panels

Are they key caps, looking at the image there is some sort of reflection at the base, could they be view finder or flash parts.

Actually looking again I think what I’m seeing is a black lip with the white pocking through.

I was thinking key caps as well. Off an old adding machine or typewriter perhaps; maybe a fighter jet data entry keypad or something too, as they were robbing the military boneyard for props a lot...

Little silver "barnacles" I do not know. Central switches look pretty typical slide/rocker switch caps found on tons of 70's hi-fi stuff, and plenty of reproductions are on eBay if you need those.

They look like spherical-top keycaps from a computer keyboard, double-shot, to me. Don't recognize the stem design. The aluminium pieces are standard Michell/Transcriptors turntable components.

Yeah, regular ol' chunky mechanical keyboard keycaps with spherical keycap profiles. They look double-shot injection moulded to me, because of the black inside the white plastic moulding. They'd be from one of the middle rows.

And glued onto the panel sideways!

Something like this, but I'm not saying this is the keyboard they used, since I have no idea.

These are the greebly details inside the escape pod hatch control panel, and on various couch recessed panels on the Falcon. ANH only.

Exactly what I was thinking! So I’m not crazy lol I’ll keep hunting. I was surprised at the overlap between adding machines, nixie calculators and keyboards, hunting one shape is not easy

Sorry for the late reply.

There was a computer keyboard with black and white keycaps in the Millenium Falcon's lounge, seen in a few production stills.
I don't know why it was there: if it was part of the set dressing or was in use.
I collect vintage computer keyboards but couldn't recognise this particular model.

I think keycaps were also used to cover screws holding Boba Fett's armour together at the shoulders. (I'm don't know enough about Boba Fett to tell if this was ESB or ROTJ or both)

These look like the back side of the coin slots from r2d2
They've been identified! Release buttons from a few UK carpet sweepers. Here's the first one a member on here found, but we keep finding random brands, all of which seem to be manufactured the same way. Qualcast, Junex, Hoover, etc.

If I ever get ahold of one, I'll mold it so more of us have access to them

Found this on Facebook of all places, looks to be one of the snow speeder cockpit seats. I see a characteristic ESB greeblie on the left, that bracket thing, and possibly lots of DV6 chrome thingys

here is a neat shot of a piece from a Propstore auction, with some part numbers on it.

Also, I keep checking my tracking number to see if a new package has cleared customs. it has an X Wing cockpit piece, and a (most likely) RAF switch used on droids and cockpits in ESB. gonna need one of eethan s aluminum knobs for the cockpit piece!

I have definitely seen rocker switches like that but they have ridges along the face. Unless the rockers are fake and there are bulbs behind them.. but I doubt that
