Here is my Studio Scale Snowspeeder Model.
With many breaks it took me years to build, and yes, it was the most difficult and time consuming build for me so far !
It all begins with the resin Snowspeeder Kit developed by Nick Sainton-Clark and casted by Mike Salzo.
It is a great kit but here and there are some details, dimensions/shape that could be better...
At the end only a few parts were used from the resin kit, most is scratchbuild or get some extra detail
with org. kitparts.
So, I'M really happy with the result.
And NO, it's not perfect and NO, it's not 100% accurate to the orginal... but hey, I love it, and again I'M happy with it !
The main reworks/changes to the kit:
-new styrene canopy
-complete new cockpit, seats, panels...
-machined armature (thank you "catch")
-sculpted new pilots
-new styrene upper hull/fuselage
-new cannon front boxes
-new engine box
-new cannon tips-detailed harpoon gun
