Survivor: Heroes vs Villains Discussion Thread - Spoilers

The best villains are good when they're being lied to (see Russell, Parvati and even Boston Rob).

I think Russell is probably going to stick around a little longer than I thought. He'll know Sandra will still be gunning for him, but he'll probably convince Candice to tag along with him.

My girlfriend and I were shaking our heads when Parvati shared with Amanda that she had the idol....but then were cheering in amazement when she handed one to Sandra and one to Jerri....quite possibly one of the boldest moves/best shock moments I've seen

I think Russel's days are numbered but at this point, I'd just be happy to see him go after Sandra... she is the most annoying person in the game at this point and while all the villains are bad... she is edited in a way in which she seems to have virtually no redeeming qualities what-so-ever.

I still say that Russell's big mistake was not getting rid of Sandra last week, but that said, the editing of that commercial for next week shows them gunning for Russell, and I can't see them giving away the next voted off that easily. I think the villains get someone from the heroes on their side, or he wins individual immunity.

So who DO you want to win?

I have nobody I'm cheering for this time around... or cheering against.

I'm picking and choosing different moves as good or bad, and all of them have either made dumb moves or have wimped out or are just not that likable.

So nobody has struck me as someone worth rooting for individually.

If Sandra can turn it around from being on the bottom with everyone against her, more power to her. Given what she has to work with, I honestly don't see her as any worse than the rest of them.

I, myself, would like to see Russell win. He is a great player. But I doubt
that is going to happen. Best season yet though.

Pretty much my exact thoughts. Russell has played a better game than most I have seen and has made it entertaining without coming off as completely unlikable. I'd love to see him win, but just don't think it is ever going to happen.

I have several that I would be happy to see win it. Russell number 1 as he really has played well, and I think JT would actually vote for him as he shook his hand as his name was being read and said well played. I'd be fine with Parvati winning, but would really be happy to see Colby finally win one and Rupert too. The only one who would be a disappointment would be Sandra, same as when she won before.

This season he's much more likable than last. So I wouldn't mind if he won, I'm just not ready to cheer for him. hehe

Hankey, I totally agree, JT left like a hero. ha!

Eopie, Colby, really? He was ready to give up earlier and still doesn't look like he wants to fight for anything.

This season has had the most daring risk/reward chances being taken. Great to watch. I loved Russell whispering to Parvati, "You've got some explaining to do." I do think Russell may be in trouble if Sandra joins with the Heroes.

I wouldn't mind Colby either. He's kinda putting on a weak performance (except that episode after James' elimination that sparked the beast in him). So he's not much of a physical threat to get voted off. He doesn't seem to be good at puzzles, so the only thing he has is that he's likeable. And that's enough to get you to the finals and win (based on previous seasons).

Russell and Parvati are playing the game well adn either deserve to win. But because they deserve it, that usually means they'll be out soon :S

Sandra and Rupert I DO NOT want to see win. They both just come off as annoying and always complaining about the littlest things.

I think Parvati actually out bad*ssed Russell last night! :lol

Does anyone know for sure if this season was taped while the last Survivor was on? I assume it was since JT trusted Russell so much. Noone who saw Russell's season would say that.

This was taped prior to the last season finale so no one knew about Russles game play. By the look on his face during that finale, I don't think he wins this one either.

I did just read this though: Russells being a Villian outside the game.

"Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains" castaway Russell Hantz , who is a member of the Villains tribe, was taken into custody by police today in Lafayette, LA.
The Lafayette, LA told ET that Hantz has been charged with simple battery after allegedly shoving a woman to the ground.
The police department booked Hantz this morning and have subsequently released him.
According to the Associated Press, the woman was not seriously injured.
Hantz can be seen on the episode of "Survivor" airing next Thursday at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Wow, Sandra really needs to go. She double flipped, told the heroes that she would vote with them and then voted with the villains anyway.

Russell survives another week. That's the great news!

Russell no longer has a hidden idol. That's the bad news. (Although I will say that even though playing the idol proved to be unnecessary, I think he had no choice but to play it.)

Russell and Parvati, according to the preview, part ways next week. That's the worse news! I think Parvati is the biggest threat to him yet.

I hope I'm wrong.
