No, but that's a bloody fantastic idea, maybe a bit rigid though for the tight corners!

Its actually part of a wrist cord / strap that came with a Flip digital video recorder. The silver material like wrap was within a plastic core, so stripped away the core and used the thin silver strap as the braided cable!
