BRILLIANT! The random wiring breaks up the hard edges and gives it a very lived in quasi chaotic look! I LOVE IT!

Did you enjoy the striping or did you find it frustrating?

Thanks buddy. The striping was a bit troublesome at first. The material stretches out a bit, so it will take some getting used to before it looks perfect. But i like it a lot better than the method i used before. Thanks for sharing that bit with all of us!

Hey B,

You definately want to be careful NOT to stretch the material too much. It will snap back over time leaving gaps - which can very frustrating. The more you do it, the easier it gets. I really enjoy it. I'm looking forward to working on more of the MF cockpit panels... hmmmm... I wonder????

Keep going, the panel looks great! And I'm following your lead. I'm keeping everything I think could be used a greeblie...

The project has been really cheap, and the skill (if you can call it that) comes with practice. My first prop was a disaster, but if your having fun, that's what matters! But thank you.

It's funny, I've actually been PM'd about that.

Well I look at it as a rescue mission, as these were all broken and non functional, so now they get to spend time "hanging" around rather than sitting in a landfill:love

Though I think mine that work, and have been added to my collection, are a little concerned they may be next:eek

Besides you gonk droid how many projects are sitting on hold awaiting the completion of this one. I know you have a couple on hold. the room is progressing nicely cant wait for the finish.

just WOW!! love it, and yes, i too am blown away by the almost obsessively neat cable work i dream of one day having cables that tidy. mine are so messy and tangled they became self away last thursday and have since taken one of my children hostage
