Tom are these letters too?

Cant tell for sure but it just looks like raised metal like whats on the left side of the crown. But maybe thats something too?
I've got a few globs of metal on my fins (or something) but the fin to the right of the crown absolutely has a right angle engraved into it

Maybe it is an L or something. PrinceZips has 2 Bs and what looks like arrow. Different factories different marks?

It might be a C, which if accurate could mean manufactured by Colt. Very early ones were and not very many either.

I also see a “B”, an “S”, and probably/possibly something else in the yellow. Also a “V” maybe?

They used 3 types of marking these, engraving, something called electro-pencil (or something like that), and stamping.

The “B“ marking means it was manufactured by BSA (Birmingham Small Arms).
The crown marking usually has letters underneath it.
“D”, “H”, “M”, “P”, “U”, and “W” are common but their significance is not understood.

The Arrow is the British Broad Arrow, and military stamping all over older British wartime weapons and ordnance.

So i got a question and don't know where to ask it. How much is a flash hidder going for these days. The guy in the junk yard wants around $780 for 1. I heard some sold for $500. Whats a good price. And how about the barrel jacket?
