Titanic

I know this is an old thread, but I was looking for a Titanic Ticket (for a project for my daughter), but not finding one here, I found an image of a very damaged original (from 1912), here is a repaired and cleaned up version if anyone is interested.

I'm not sure what size the original is supposed to be, there is a framed version of the one used in the film on the propstore website, and I have calculated that (if the film prop is accurate) mine should be about 21cm x 17cm

Until next time.

Peter

I have a load of titanic stuff - I put on an exhibition in april which is still running until the end of Jan in New Tredegar Winding House Museum give me a day or two and I'll post them here

here's some stuff to keep things going

I have loads of docs and records to do with the Actual TITANIC as apposed to the MOVIE TITANIC if you want anything let me know - I have the full transcript of both US and UK inquiries plus other documents and files if your after anything specific let me know - all docs are Museum Quality transcripts

some of the images are not too good but given the talents of those here should be able to clean them up

have fun

DD28 - Awesome ticket. I have been meaning to clean one of these up for years now. You are fast and the quality is good. Thank you for Sharing this.

Rorschach999 - You efforts here have been equally welcome. Thank you for your incredible work and sharing as well.

Between the two of you and a bunch of others things have really started picking up around here. At least with subjects and movies that I have interests in.

Thank you to all for their hard work and excellent sense of community. I love the RPF.

Best,
DBCooper

Hi,

its a bit of a long story but cutting it short, I watched " A night to remember" when i was about 15 and later found out i was related to John wesley Woodward the Cello player in the band so was hooked from them and been collecting Titanic memorabilia ever since, and a few personal item from MR woodwards family too, I was also lucky enough to be invited to Milvina Deans Funeral, sad day that was, I have loads of Titaniic related documents, trouble is files to big to post here but if there is anything you are after just ask, I was also lucky enough to be a or the major contributor to a local exhibition on the titanic "winding house, New tredegar,) last year unfortunutly it ended in april this year, I've also consulter ITV and the BBC on Titanic related issues and programmes as well as loaned them some artifacts to replicate for TV.
