Well, that stops making sense to me pretty quickly. What previous versions are you comparing it to?
All in all they make for a handy carry along prop when you are afraid of risking your expensive and hard to replace prop replica. I guess that means I should buy them.
I actually thought you were going to narrow it to 'officially licensed versions' or something. I'm curious to know why you think, given the fairly obvious alterations made, I assume, due to the materials, that this one comes closer to the mark than any previous version.
Sure, he's a top-notch guy. No doubt this comes reasonably close, within the limits set by it being a plastic toy that makes noise, modulo any errors that crept in, and considering that the original isn't available for measurement. But why would that mean the resulting product is "the most accurate classic sonic, dimension and shape wise, ever produced"?
Ok. So suppose the original plans are micrometer-perfect. And then come the changes, both necessary and accidental ones. The result is a compromise.
Yes, you of all people should. How can the "King of Classic Sonics" not have these.
In a word: money. :lol Between a few other investments (teletran custom sonic, QMX stunt phaser, new McGann style coat) and improvements on my home (new kitchen floor, counter top) and the usual bills I've been skimping on the toys of late...sorta. :cool
I'll get them eventually and thank you very much for the moniker. Me like.
Which is still an unsupported assertion on your part. Ok.
Anyway, it's fun to see such a retro item done as well as it is. I wish these things could be metal, but I know that's too much to hope for!

Yes, unsupported by you. If your opinion is faith-based, hey, keep reaching for that rainbow. If you have some actual information to share, do that.
Good lord, man. You made the assertion, I just asked you what's behind it! Tell you what, forget it. You've given a sufficient answer.
Guys! Look! Boobs!
(hopefully that'll diffuse the situation, always works for me)
