UC Elven Knife of Strider problem :(

i just checked my knife that has been on the wall since i got it probably six years ago and noticed that the handle is starting to split as well. It isn't that bad right now and i am hoping that it doesn't get any worse.

take it to a furniture / woodworker now!!!

This might seem crude... but you can buy wood pattern duct-tape if you're really desperate... unless you want to get a new knife, filling it or bolting it might just destroy it.

Hecubus did you ever find a solution? My knife is doing the same thing.

I am checking with a local knife make to see if he could replace the handle with a custom cocobolo handle, to make it more accurate to the film used knife. I will let you know what I find out.

I finally got enough guts to fix my knife. I used a filler, stained the filler then applied a lacquer to the entire handle. After it dries I will take a photo of the entire completed knife. It isn't perfect, but is 1000% better than the cracks.

Cracks filled in with wood filler so you can see them better in the photo.

DONE!!!
