Hey everyone!
This is my first post here a RPF, I am a long time lurker and have been doing Spiderman Cosplay for a few years now (mostly with Raimi style suits, no muscle shades). I havent seen anyone posting the new bagley Ultimate Spiderman "Comic Book" Style suit online, so I decided that I would be the first. Right now the suit is being sewn together for a custom fit and I cannot wait to show it to everyone!!

Down below is the pattern I bought from his online store.

I also have a faceshell and lenses from Spidernation (I am going to upgrade to OracleUK very, very soon-- their lenses are beyond insane!) I am also going to assemble a Spiderman webbing backpack.

Looking forward to discussing this build and project with you guys!! Im also going to add pictures of my old suits for comparison.

That looks incredible SpideyMTL! It looks like Chris Havoc is wearing the OracleUK lenses, I may be wrong....
Brandon is insanely talented... that suit looks straight out of the pages!
When I get mine I'm going to post pictures of every aspect of the suit.

Hey guys here is an update on the suit!! The suit is done at the printers, and is on its way!!

I am also going to be redoing the lenses (originally made by Spidernation-- I do not recommend, save your money and buy ORacle or RPC faceshell) I will be posting more pictures as I continue to work on this and finalize everything. Get ready for a lot of pictures, going over every aspect of this suit!!

SpideyMTL! sorry, I did not respond sooner!!! Zenatizone did the print and sewing. They have made my other costumes as well and they do a good job for the price. Im a little bit larger than most Spider-man cosplayers (190-200lbs) and im about 5'11". I should be getting the costume today!!! USPS tried to deliver but, i was not home... so I will swing by post office later!! Will post pics ASAP!!!!

I got the suit in the mail! Here are some pics to share with you guys, hope you enjoy!
I will be adding lots of pictures and details over every aspect of the suit from zentaizone!

First of all, I am beyond pleased with the print job that zentaizone did. The colors really do look vibrant and they do not fade much when being stretched! That being said, this one fits a little more snug than other suits I have ordered from them in the past (thats ok tho).

Two big suprises for me:
1. The lesnes came in a nice little carrying case (my other lenses fit in this as well, so I am happy to have this case!) - The lenses themselves are nothing great, foam frames with a beveled shape and perforated vinyl white sticker on the clear plastic lens. For a serious cosplayer... these are not going to work. but I have some ideas for them! ( more to come!) I will be updating my faceshell and lenses very soon (what I have now is okay-- but i do not recommend spidernation-- garbage for the price-- faceshell cracked the first day)
2. The shoes- they look good are a perfect size and are attached very well. (more detail in pics and video to come) For the feel of the shoes... i dont like it yet, they of course add weight which I am not used to in Spiderman Cosplay (perhaps I will grow to love them, but for now they feel odd) That being said, they seem to be great quality and worth the price! The bottoms are great and looks like they will outlast the suit itself!

Ill post more pics and some videos later! Shoot me some feed back! What are your thoughts? like or dislike about this print?

Here are some pics that show what the suit looks like on me, my little webhead seems to love it and cries when I take it off.
I'm 5'11" and weight around 200lbs. I really like the look of this suit, there's only a couple of things I would change... the backside is one lol.

LyMovieDude1 - Thank you my friend! im trying my best not to look like a complete doofus in these costumes hahaha :D:thumbsup

George- Thanks! He runs around saying "Daddy Spider-man!" I can't wait to do his first cosplay soon! :cool

You fit the suit perfectly.

Im getting the same print from Gunhead (More cartoonish)

The lenses are with a faceshell?
Attached hood I see?

More pics up close ?

Re: Ultimate Spider-Man Bagley Suit "Comic Style" by Brandon Gilberto!!

Thanks SpideyMTL!! I cant wait to see yours!!

Lenses: I got the lenses free from ZZ (their rewards pts program)- those lenses are not attached and not the ones seen in the full pictures with me and my son.

Faceshell: The faceshell was made by SpiderNation, I ordered it last year... not a terrible product but it cracked the first day (and I am beyond careful!!) but it was overpriced, the finish was terrible and the shape was warped weird. But, I mad it work. I will be altering that faceshell soon along with the lenses that came with it. This is what you see in the full bodysuit picture. and in my profile picture. The plastic on these lenses has warped... awfully over the last year. So I bout some material and will rebuild them. (I will post this process as well.)

Hood: The hood is detached, actually.

I will post more pictures tonight hopefully and maybe a video if I have the time! :)
Any questions please ask, One of the reasons I started this was to help answer questions for people who were curious about the quality and look of different zentai prints and designs for Spidey!

Meowz0r, on their custom options I simply put in the length of my foot- the sole fits just right. my feet go right to the edge, no overhang from my foot or the shoe. and it is just the sole of the shoe. I will post some detailed pictures this evening :thumbsup

the detached hood can be seen more clearly here. The neck line is very tall and fold over a bit at the top; i will address that issue later :cool
BTW- it is insanely hard to take a picture of yourself with gloves on. ALSO!! I have forearm zippers (hidden) that I will detail in pictures later also! Screenshot_2016-04-25-21-58-42.png

TBS,may I ask how you have tightened the neck and chin for your mask? I ordered my suit with Zentaizone as well and the chin looks a bit unflattering (sort of senior citizen style).
What do I do to tuck it in more?

George, I know exactly what you are talking about! My first suit from ZZ has a detached hood that seems to stretch our quite a bit when i put my faceshell and head into the mask. It doesn't look completely terrible but it bugs me a bit. For this suit I ordered the zip-up option for the detached mask {FANTASTIC DECISION!} , I gave them my neck measurement. and it fits fantastic! (also, I have a big head size and close to a 17 inch or so neck).

The only help I can offer to you is two options: install a hidden zipper on the inside of the back of the mask neck, and take in the width of the neck accordingly. this way you can fit your head in and zip it tight! or option 2, bring in the neck material like option 1 but don't install zipper.

sorry if that doesnt help much :(
