4K77 definitely!I own Harmy's Despecialized editions of the OT on Blu Ray. Would it be worth it still to pick up 4K77 and the Silver screen edition? I have not seen those versions.
4K77 definitely!
I believe they're currently working on it.There is a seller on eBay selling burned Blu Ray of 4k77 and 4k83 for really cheap.
Does 4k80 not exist?
I believe they're currently working on it.
The Despecialized editions have a similar disclaimer yet I bought them on eBay! Oh the Irony.
;
I think the point is they only have an argument to continue doing this for us all if no money changes hands, we should respect that as it's their call.
They are doing the work and could sell, but don't. The ebayers are the re-casters of this story, discuss...

You must do what you feel is right, of course.I don't have a computer to download or a Blu Ray burner or means to make the case artwork. But I wanted nicely done physical copies of the Despecialized editions and the seller provided that. The transfer to Blu ray is flawless and all of the special features are provided with well done navigational menus. I look at it as buying the presentation work with the films thrown in for free.
I will be buying 4k77 as well.
Lucas screwed us over on the original editions so I see this as a middle finger. You must do what you feel is right, of course.

I normally compress all my pics online but doing that here would be counter productive to the comparison so apologies for the big file.
Silver Screen edition top, 4K77 bottom.
Both here actually are represented in 1080p
4K77 is def clearer if you look closely but its over contrast makes the SSE still the winner.
The inside Sandcrawler scene is just amazing in the SSE, unbelievable depth.
I'm still going to watch it thoughfor confirmation.
Yarp, Someone mentions that in the comments of the you tube comparisons and apparently they used a little image stabilization this time as the new print was a little wobbly and that's the trade off. This is interesting. Other than the color differences (SSE vs 4K77), the image is scaled on the 4K77 version. If you save the images and toggle back and forth, you can see it.
What's up with that, I wonder?
