This listing is for an original prop flag from HBO's Watchmen. This is the flag that was placed over Judd Crawford's casket during his funeral, and subsequently blown to shreds by a Seventh Kavalry suicide bomber. The flag originally measured 57" X 34", but the remains are in four pieces.
This is a "hero" prop, so it's a very high quality item. This flag was custom-made for the series by Atlas Flags, and it's made with the same quality as flags intended for daily use. The stars and stripes are all sewn in, not printed. The flag has been heavily torn and burned for production, and the edges still have traces of dirt and twigs from the cemetery.
This flag was purchased directly from HBO's prop department, in a prop auction held earlier this year through Heritage. The COA will be included as shown. Please note that the COA shows two flags, but only the flag shown here is included.
