Decided to do an "all by hand" custom Yuma neck for the Veracity labs MoM. This is the first time i've tried the tooth paste method, first taught to me by Ryan Kelly of RPK Customs and the burning technique by Halliwax in his V2 stencil paint tutorials. Just a few pics to show you all the process and the results.( The painting is a lot more intricate as there are a lot of stages and colors)

Beautiful work, my friend! It's those fine details that can really take a prop to the next level and your Yuma builds never fail to impress me.

;)

Looking great man, let’s see some MPP progress!
Thanks buddy, here you go.
Roy’s steel cast MPP shroud, after hours of file work. Hours to go, I’m not going to use the dremel until polishing, and for the interior grinding since this one’s from the first run.

I started out wanting to get rid of this seam, then the cast surface just had to go.

My wheels are turning with this Canon Model X flash unit with Graflex slave unit ...and i'm trying to convince myself to be done with a custom Heiland Vader style. I burnt some osage orange and made side bars for the Heiland. I cut a board from a vintage 80s handheld game(wish i could remember which one and made a custom blade plug until i figure where to go with this.)

The surface is looking better, I hit it with emery paper, then wet stone, & will finish with a polish pass from the Dremel before paint.
