What are your favorite Lightsaber Replicas? (Movies, Shows, Games, Books, Canon, Legends)

Hello there Folks,

On behalf of the r/Lightsabers team, I was wondering if we could discuss and showcase some of you guy's favorite saber replicas. For our Wiki, we have a Replica section that we want to expand more on. These, of course, don't really have to be the most current-day, most-bought, or most accurate. They don't have to exclusively be runs either.

It's also well-known that r/Lightsabers tends to lean more towards FX-capable sabers while the RPF crowd tends to prefer static display ones, but our Subreddit/community shouldn't be just FX-Exclusive. There are also so many extremely talented makers on this platform that we don't really want to miss out on showcasing or creditting any artist's work

I also want to go ahead and differiante this thread from the Custom Lightsabers one. It seems that one is oriented more toward Custom Non-Canon Designs, while this one I wanted to be for Replicas of Sabers and Saber Props seen throughout Star Wars Content

My gen1 starkiller.. for years no one did a run of the v2… no one

Starkiller stepped up and posted a run at 11pm, I signed up for slot 1.

The starkiller gen1 started so many friendships, these friends I consider the closest I’ve ever had in my life. And some I’ve never even met in person..

So the starkiller gen1 v2 is my all time favorite because of all the friends I’ve made from it

In the same vein as Halliwax, my favorite replica is the Russrep (and later mixed with DaveP parts) ANH Ben Kenobi hilt. Not that it was the best or most accurate, especially compared to later Romans Empire parts, but at that point when I started seriously collecting and building my grail pieces, no one was making these parts anymore. Russ wasn't even making his own parts anymore. Roman had at that point retired from making more parts; no one was doing these things. I got all my ANH Kenobi parts second hand from this site and I only managed to upgrade it much later when DaveP made his accurate parts, specifically the booster and pommel which I wanted to replace on my replica. It was about 10 years at that point and, in that time, I learned how to machine and metal work on my own over time and made modifications to the Russ parts to accept the DaveP parts. It is a personal catalogue of my growth not just as a collector but maker.

Second favorite replica I own is, as concieted as it sounds, my own replica RotJ V2. The first and only of its kind ever produced from the fan community: original materials from lineage pattern, in as close to the original construction methods as possible.

This is my most of my replica collection, a couple are not pictured. I also have a few Galaxys Edge and Hasbro lightsabers. My favorite is Anakin’s ROTS lightsaber. It was the first lightsaber I got as a kid, one of those telescoping toy ones from the early 2000s. It’s been my favorite ever since and over the past few years I’ve been collecting replicas of it. My favorite of the replicas is Shadowfoils Youngling saber. It is very accurate and customizable to the different hero props used in ROTS.
