What is your favorite movie mistake?

In North By Northwest, the kid that plugs his ears before the gunshot.

Live and Let Die, and the boat crashing into the Sheriff car. I know you may be thinking, "But that was in the film, and it was on purpose." But the truth is this: During the filming of this scene, the boat crashed into the car, which was no scripted. However, the director liked it and the actors stayed in character afterwards, the script was rewritten to accommodate the scene.

My favorite is in ESB, after Luke kicks Vader off of the carbonite freezing platform, he jumps off the side and you see his head pop back into frame after he bounces off a trampoline.

Sean

Being able to see the scaffolding and incomplete set when Kirk leaves the Enterprise to go after Spock in the extended version of TMP.

Kevin

In Diamonds Are Forever I love when Bond enters the alley with his car up on the 2 passenger side wheels and then exits the alley on the driver side wheels.

Aliens is my favorite. Towards the end when Bishop is torn in half and he grabs Newt as she is skidding on the floor towards the open airlock you can clearly see him rise out of the floor when reaching for her. Totally ruins the cut in half effect for me every time.

My favorite mistake was fixed for DVD release. It was in AOTC in one of the lake scenes with Anakin and Padme. The camera pulls back to reveal (in IMAX) a shiny red Coke can by Anakin's feet.

Was bummed it got edited out. But it was fun to watch for while it was still in its theatrical release.

Some of my faves are:

The microphone can be seen over Carl Weathers and Bill Dukes heads In Predator, just before they are killed (which is subsequently removed in later releases.

Seeing Carl Weathers arm tucked behind his arm when it is shot off by the Predator.

Rocky 4 where Appollo Creed gets into the ring with Ivan Drago, he saids "I want you", in one shot he is wearing gloves, and in the next he has not.

Commando, when the yellow Porche is put onto its side, it has a lot of side damage, Arnie then pushes it over, and as he drives off, the damage is gone.

Cobra, Stallone puts three grenades on the table, and in the next shot, he has only put down two.

Cobra, at the end, Stallone gets onto a chopper with a matt greay tank, but in the next shot, it has a red tank.

First Blood:

There are many for the movie, but heres a link to some.

I love how every DeLorean in the BTTF films is different in some major way. Even in the Part 1 cars there were some major "mistakes"...or variations as I call them.

It's cool to see that each car has its own little individualism...thats why its such a shame that the "B" Car was destroyed by the train...it had its own little personality when you know all of the variations. Damn...oh how I wish they used the Oxnard car...

Speaking of Jedi.

Does Han copping a feel count as a mistake?
I think it counts as much as Femi Taylor's "wardrobe malfunction" while she's dancing for Jabba. :cool I was surprised they didn't "fix" that for the not-so-Special-Edition version.

This is true of the Volkswagen's they used in Disney's The Love Bug as well, especially during the El Dorado race sequences.

I'm usually pretty good at spotting mistakes, but my wife spotted one in Blue Thunder that I hadn't noticed after having seen the movie several times: In the scene in which Lymangood/JAFO (Daniel Stern) is running from the car that's trying to run him down, his hands are tied behind his back. When he trips over the bicycle/bicyclist in the parking lot, he brings his hands in front of him to break his fall, but as he struggles to get to his feet his hands are tied behind him again.

Apparently in Pearl Harbor Bay's crew got some of the Japanese planes wrong and used models that weren't there.

The spiders on Indy's back in Raiders's - as you all know there's a shot where you can see the spiders on his back far too early.

And I have a question. Can we count our favorite movie mistake as ALL of Attack of the Clones?:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

How about in Pee Wee's Big Adventure, when he's driving the car and the escaped convict is next to him in the car asleep. The road signs are rolling are rolling at the car on platformed wheels. Each one more visible than the next - funny thing is - it kinda fits the movie.
