Wolf amulet

Here it is. Upon closer examination I doubt its pewter, not really sure what it's made of but it definitely has some heft to it. It's been in a display case for quite a long time.

I recently won a pendant described as production made. Just noticed a stamp of 825 along the edge. Anyone know if this means it was one of the 90s replicas or not? No info came with it. Thanks!

.825 is the silver content. with .925 being more common and called Sterling Silver, but is also softer.

Yours has a bit less silver in it than sterling silver.

Interesting info. I guess now I need to do some research to see if any of the production made pendants would have been made from this material. I'd be surprised

Unless Production was in Europe, then this is unlikely to be production made.

Wormhole time! That had me wondering... Silver hallmarks like above aren't required in the US, but have been in the UK since 1973 for most all silver manufactured items. Wolf was shot in the USA, and it would have made more sense to have it produced in-country.

I also saw a Propstore auctioned a medallion (https://propstoreauction.com/lot-details/index/catalog/397/lot/139851) that only has one side. Is the second side with engraves confirmed as used in the movie? I have no idea.

Yeah, I fear its not looking good for my little acquisition. VIP FAN AUCTIONS is allegedly getting more info from the consignor. But if they had no info to begin with im very curious as to how they could attribute it as "screenused". I wish there was more information out there regarding these pendants. A few of the production made ones seem to circulate around each year but without much provenance

ANY marking .925 or .825 is normally only present on products that are being SOLD. So that you will know how much silver is present. Production made likely would NOT have either mark. Doesn't look good. This appears to be an intentional replica meant for sale.
