Yeah, I've got a soft spot for the 20s through the 50s, albeit minus the Great Depression and WWII. I think if you had money back then, it would have been a great period, at least until WWII broke out. Watching the movies made then, the only thing striking me as missing really was TV and high-end music playback (and social media garbage, but I wouldn't likely miss that).Quite impressed by the state of your current display. I absolutely loved your art-decò lighters. They are very much in the line of the period. Maybe Indy wouldn't smoke (he even might not have time to enjoy it ), but I bet Walter Donovan would and they'd perfectly fit his stylish parlour... By the way, I always wondered where the production came across with the fluted champaigne glasses...
I'd love to drive Bogart's Plymouth in The Big Sleep/High Sierra today even (I hate automatic and this push for electric is bogus; if it were so great it'd sell on its own).
