Thats because it's not true...the wrap was one of W.W.T.'s original designs for Star Trek and the prototype wrap ended up on Charlie Evans (skinny kid) in Charlie X and was used before Bill's up and down weight issues arose. It was always meant to set the lead apart from the others on stage.

Can you make a version that meets evenly on the edges so it can be tiled?

I agree, although perhaps with a large metallic insignia of choice, either centred or perhaps top right hand corner to break up the monotony. Otherwise I might keep trying to relax my eyes and look for hidden designs. :lol

Although, come to think of it, I would prefer one single metallic, not one in each tile, which would make it more work than it's worth.

Wow....excellent work from the RPF crew as usual. I can't wait to see a run of these done. I definitely want a Blue Spock version to wear to the premiere.
